Escape Within

Sometimes, when I’ve had enough of the noise around me, I find it necessary and refreshing to escape into my own space.  I turn off the phone, the computer, the TV and anything else electronic.  If I can go away to some green place, I do that –  If not,  I simply stay in my yard or inside.  I believe everyone, especially artists,  needs to withdraw occassionally.  These “vacations” don’t last long.  Something or other will intervene and disrupt it.  That’s OK, the “nap” was refreshing and it’s time to get up.
