Hi Zoraida,
I just wanted to let you know that I featured your tutorial on my site, http://www.AllFreeBeadedJewelry.com. I linked to this project:
http://www.allfreebeadedjewelry.com/Brooches-and-Pins/Wire-Birds-Nest-Pin
I would like to know if I can link like this to you, including a photo, in the future. Or if you would be willing to allow me to post projects in full on the site – full credit will always be given to you, of course. Your projects have the opportunity to be featured in our newsletter as well. It would be yet another source of traffic to your blog.
Once I have two projects on the site I can start a designer profile for you with links back to your blog, store, facebook, etc. Here is an example of one: http://www.allfreebeadedjewelry.com/Jewelry-Designers/Pearl-Blay-Jewelry-Designer
Please let me know, I would love to work with you further.
Thanks!

Sounds good to me. I’ve sent you a direct email.
Thanks for sharing directions on birds nest pin. It is so very lovely. My daughter is getting married in 6/16/12. She is a DIY bride, marring out side and making flower arrangment, etc. I would love to make these pins for her bridemaids. I bought wire from the hardware store to make table markers, and is was more economical than a craft store.
Do you have suggestions as to where I should purchase the wire for this project?
Congratulations on your daughters marriage! I like to buy wire from other artisans whenever possible. One good place is Beading on a Budget on Etsy – http://www.etsy.com/shop/BeadingonaBudget She has great prices and fast shipping. Be sure to get the right shape and size for your project. Good luck with the bird’s nests and let me know how it goes.
I followed the link for the Wire Bird’s Nest Pin from http://www.allfreebeadedjewelry.com but it took me to your ‘about me’ page. Could you possibly give me the link for the right post? I can’t seem to find it in your archives. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful project, I can’t wait to make it!
Hi Misty, I don’t know what’s going on with allfreebeadedjewelry but my bird’s nest tutorial is right here on my blog under tutorials – https://artzjewelry.wordpress.com/2011/07/08/how-to-make-a-birds-nest-pin/. The allfreebeaded link would have brought you here anyway.
Hi Zoraida!
I just had to drop you a note to let you know that you have just become my favorite wire artist. I am so enamored of your works (I’ve just finished looking through your galleries), that if I ever get the chance to meet you, ‘shadow’ you, or take a workshop or class with you, I will move heaven & earth to do so!
Your designs are very inspirational. Thank you for sharing them.

I have tried to learn to make jewelry because no one made what I wanted. Then I saw this site and your jewelry is perfect. I still want to learn but your jewelry is perfect! Thanks! Deb
Thank you so much Debby. I’m so flattered! If you love jewelry making, you will learn it! Loving what you do is the first step. There is no thing as perfection. I’m always learning.
I just wanted to say, thank you for being so generous with your knowledge and designs. Also, your jewelry is beautiful. Thanks again – Di

Just stumbled upon your blog. I love the natural organic feel of jewelry! Thank you for sharing. I look forward to future posts!
Thank you Melodee. I appreciate your comments and hope you continue to follow my blog 🙂
So is it the ferric chloride that causes the etching?
Yes, Ferric Chloride is the chemical that eats into the copper except where a resist has been applied (in this case, sharpie marker).
