Monochromatic designs – keeping it simple

I’ve just recently noticed that many of my pieces are designed using only a single color or a few hues of the same color.  Funny how I never really took note of that.   Perhaps I was just making it easier to coordinate my jewelry with the outfits I wore when I worked in an office setting (Ugh, how practical).  Or maybe I simply like to think of them as “the purple necklace”, “the green necklace..” etc.    Whatever the reason, I still prefer to keep the color simple and concentrate on the design.

Here are two new, almost monochromatic, necklaces.  Read some comments – http://www.making-jewelry-now.com/amethyst-copper-necklace.html and http://www.making-jewelry-now.com/labradorite-prehnite-necklace.html
